Students of all ages are trying genius hour in their classrooms. One day a student was upset because she had to miss genius hour. They explain the good things genius hour does for students. In a world of standardized testing it’s nice to have an hour each week for just the student and his/her interests. One student made a robot, another made a marble roll tower. Failure is accepted and used for further knowledge and learning in other areas. You’re allowed to fail on your idea. It’s fine. You just need to learn from your mistakes and get back up and try again. This article has made me realize that even if my genius hour project doesn’t go perfectly it doesn’t matter. I will have more information on how to succeed for my next idea. I now do not feel so pressured to ensure it goes right. Because if it fails it won’t be the end of the world. I do hope it works out wonderfully but if it doesn’t I’ll just start over and try again without shame. You learn your mistakes through failure and this project really pushes that idea.

We want to help out charities. We want to raise as much money as we can to help good charities out. Charities are always helping other people who helps charities? Not a great abundance of people do. We would like to make things; bracelets, cookies, something and then sell the items and turn the money over to the charities in need.
